The 5 W’s of Metallic Thread

There are many different types of designs that boast the shine and sparkle from the metallic thread. You can enhance your quilt projects with free motion quilting using metallic thread. Where do you store it or buy it? You can store it on your thread racks, and you can purchase it here KingStar Metallic.  Here is a great tip for when you are finished with your thread. Let out a length of thread and wrap/twist it 2-3 times on itself, place over the spool and tighten the end of thread.  This is a great way to secure the thread tail.
