Stand Back!

Stand Back refers to keeping your fabric from falling into the sewing field!  And we do that with the Hoop Guard.  Hoop Guard is available for two types of hoops.  There is the Hoop Guard for Standard Hoops and the Hoop Guard for Snap Hoop Monster.

The Hoop Guard for Standard Hoop easily slides in between the frame on most manufacturer’s hoops.  Be sure to hoop the flange part so the rest of the guard will stand up.  It is bendable and pliable and great for t-shirts, bags, pillowcases and onesies!

The Hoop Guard for Snap Hoop Monster easily snaps onto the top frame of any Snap Hoop Monster for single needle machine.  It’s lightweight, stainless steel construction means it stays put where you place it!  It creates a barrier to keep your project from falling into the embroidery field.  It is great for t-shirts, onesies, bags, pillowcases, large bath towels, table runners, large blankets, and quilt sandwiches for quilting with your embroidery machine.

When you are working with a quilt sandwich, the Hoop Guard for Snap Hoop Monster, will act as a barrier to keep the excess fabric out of your embroidery field.  It gives peace of mind and confidence to any embroiderer!  Also, it is important when hooping and attaching the Hoop Guard to place it on the opposite side of the hoop attachment.  It will keep the “quilt roll” from falling into the embroidery field and away from the needle bar.

Here is a quick video with Eileen Roche explaining where to attach the Hoop Guard on the Snap Hoop Monster with a quilt sandwich and why it is so important.

The Hoop Guards for either the Standard Hoop or the Snap Hoop Monster are easy to use, and with many more benefits in aiding any level of embroiderer to having fabulous results!
