December Update in Perfect Embroidery Pro

Beads, Crystals, Pearls and Rhinestones

Do you love to add crystals, beads and pearls to some of your embroidery designs? Then you’re going to love December’s free update in Perfect Embroidery Pro! Now you can audition gems on a design in Perfect Embroidery Pro before you ever take a stitch. Click on the video below to see how easy it is to add crystals to a lace neckline.

If less sometimes leaves you wanting more, then watch the video below to see how a demure neckline can be transformed with holiday sparkle.

Gems are not just for garments as they make lovely additions to home décor items. LuLu Christmas includes a lovely trio of Christmas ornaments – perfect for linen guest towels when sprinkled across the towel. But I don’t always have time to fill the width of fabric with edge to edge embroidery yet I still want a fluid design. The video below shows how crystals are a simple solution in Perfect Embroidery Pro.

When  you update, you’ll find 24 beads, 12 crystals, 16 pearls and 40 rhinestones – each customizable by size. And of course, you can add your own images to the library. Just set the position of each crystal by placing a node on the design or let the software automatically create a string of gems for you – all evenly spaced. Adjust the spacing by changing the instructions in the properties box or fine tune the placement by adjusting the individual nodes.

Stitch marks (you choose between a cross and a circle) are inserted into the design so that the placement can be easily achieved after the embroidery is complete. The size of the stitch marks is adjustable so that even the tiniest gems cover the small marks.

I hope you enjoy December’s free update – I know I’m going to have fun adding sparkle to my creations!

We are working on converting the video formats. Look for an update this evening.

I can open the videos and they are very nicely done. My question, however, is about the neckline designs used in the videos. They are very nice, indeed. Where can we get those designs and are there any special notes about them; like, are the free-standing lace designs, or stitched directly onto garments, etc.

    Thanks very much,

      Hi Ed,
You can view these on the InspiredByDime.com site and click for the Design Collections.
They are beautiful. I do not know how they were stitched…..I will find out for you. The Timeless Neckline Collection can be purchased at your local Inspirations dealer.

MODERATOR: The videos online here are in mp4 format. If you like, I can convert them to wmv format for you (for free), which is the standards Windows video format. Let me know.

I guess i’m not making myself clear, when i purchased Floriani Total Control originally, they listed the updates in complete detail and gave you a step by step what each update was and how it worked. What is Beads? what do i do with it, how do i use it? do you see my question? What will it do for me? In the past this was included in all updates. i dont Blog or facebook or twitter. So i like all my info in one pkg, Sorry to be such a B. but liked it before.

The Beads tool gives us the option to preview beads, crystal, pearl embellishments on/around a design. When the file is saved, the bead placement stitches are stitched directly on your project. Heat up the bead glue gun and add your beads to the project. You can also design bead embellishments and print a placement template and add the embellishments to a tote bag, pillow top, etc.
