Here’s a quick method for making a circle applique with the machine’s built-in stitches. In a later post, we’ll discuss the auto-applique feature but for now, this is a ‘down and dirty, quick and easy’ way to applique.
On the main screen, touch the square and heart key. 
Select the circle with the running stitch outline. 
Touch Set. 
Touch Add. 
Add another running stitch outline and touch Set. Touch Add and select the satin stitch outline. Touch Set. 
Touch Edit End. 
Select the spools icon. 
The image on the screen shows the last color that was imported. 
Use the spool plus-minus icons to move back to color 2. 
Touch the hand at the bottom of the screen to tell the machine to stop before color #2. This stop will allow you to place the applique fabric over the outline that stitched in color 1. 
Advance to the third color and add a hand to stop the machine before the satin stitch outline is applied. This stop will allow you to trim the applique fabric. 
Touch Close and stitch the applique.

11 years agoI have the 10 needle Enterprise by baby lock. I was learning how to use the machine by trial and error, then one of the nice ladies on the site told us about the Inspirational Guide to the Enterprise. It cost me $200 ( probably cheaper at other shops) it follows along with what we are lerning on this site which is great because I can go back to reread while I’m on the machine with out going on line and hunting for what I was trying to do. I would like to learn to do photo stitch too. The book is worth the money. pat

11 years agoI love the information that you post on your blog. It is always so helpful especially when you are fairly new at embroidery. I always try to learn as much as I can. But I wish that when you post this helpful information that we could download it as a PDF file to save or print to refer to when it’s needed. I forget some of it by the time I’m ready to use it.
