They’ll Never Guess You Made It

Designs in Machine Embroidery Vintage Clutch

People will never believe you made these clutches on your embroidery machine.  They look like they were purchased in a high-end artsy boutique.  But they were stitched with our polyester matte embroidery thread – 40 wt. and 15 wt. That chunky 15 wt. makes all the stitching look like it was done by hand.  But nope, the secrets in the digitizing!  Just take a look.

There’s the Floral Spray

And the Geometrics.

And possibly my favorite (it’s so hard to choose), the Stacked Loops.

Best of all, they’re on sale this week!  And they come with the thread, instructions and designs to make all three!

This collection is just in time for Easter, Mother’s Day’s and grad gifts.  They are fresh and new and stitch up in no time.  Start it at lunch and wear it to dinner! You can learn more here.

Which one’s your favorite?

I’ll hope you’ll join me on Wednesday, April 17, at 1:00 PM CST on Facebook Live!  I’ll be talking about My Lace Maker and all things lace.  How to hoop, what stabilizer, thread and needles to use!  And don’t forget to enter the contest…there’s still a chance to win.

I have always been intrigued with lace, both with how it is made and with all its applications.

What size needle do you use with 15wt thread?

A 100/16 Topsititch needle is required for the 15 wt. thread. And in fact, when you buy the Vintage Clutch collection, it not only comes with the thread but also a pack of 5 Topstitch needles.

I love these little purses but have a fear of how difficult they are to put together. My favorite is the floral.

Nancy, everything you need to be successful in making the purses are included in the collection. The first color of each design is the actual outline of the small purse. You’ll find step-by-step fully illustrated directions for each step of the way. I have made dozens – and I mean – dozens of these purses. So fun!

Have always been fascinated with tapestry type fabrics. The thought of making something like it is exciting.

Really like the floral design. Where can we get the purse hardware?

The hardware is available on our website. In fact, when you purchase the collection a window will appear asking g if you want to add them to your shopping cart.

I recently purchased this and it is telling me that it is not compatible with my computer. I have windows 8 so it should be working. Any hints and ideas please?
